Pueblo el Grande’’ is a fully walled, gated and guarded ‘A Class’ compound, just 6km north of Mactan Cebu International Airport and 10km NE of the Ayala commercial centre. Sitting on the road from Cansaga Bridge to Liloan. SM Consolacion and Pacific Mall ( Metro ) are each about 15 mins drive away. Gaisano Mall Liloan is just 15 minutes away and City Mall Consolacion.

It comprises just over 100 detached houses and townhouses, all with separate gardens, set on broad tree-lined streets. All services are underground; electricity, water, PLDT etc.

It is a 2km walk ( or drive ! ) to the coast over the low Tayud Hills, offering opportunities for those wanting safe, regular exercise activities

It is also only 500m to a local ‘Chungi’ ( marketplace ), where just about anything, or any services, can be procured. There is a Veterinary Clinic right opposite the compound for residents with dogs or cats ( all compound dogs must be leashed for residents safety ), plus multiple service industries, fast food outlets, 7-11 etc all within a few hundred meters away.

There are many excellent schools in the Consolacion area, many with student pick-up /delivery services operating from the compound. The compound is fully guarded 24 hours a day, and is super-safe for children; the compound has a large entertainment area and sparkling community pool ( both available for booked exclusive use ) plus a kiddies playground, basketball court and BBQ area The compound has a highly functional Board of Directors who look after all Sub-Division issues ( The townhouse owner was the chairman of this committee until this year ). With only just over 100 houses, these facilities are very readily available to all residents, and are maintained daily by compound staff.

The guardhouse entry, clubhouse and recreational areas are completed with fully manicured gardens Compound streets are wide and tree-lined, with strictly enforced speed limits offering safe space for kids to ride bikes etc. Provisions are in place, and work has commenced, to widen the access road to Cansaga Bridge and UN Avenue to 4 lanes; prices in Tayud will increase significantly when this is complete. The present compound dues are only 1,250 pesos per month; this covers our security guards, garbage collection, and all other compound services, and all of the maintenance of roads, the compound pool etc.
